Stefan Vucak has once again given us an amazing story to read. Cry of Eagles offers an insightful look through a fictional lens into the real political and religious turmoil in Iran – and there is also a glimpse at how America has been involved in situations there. With the realistic and meaningful characters that he as created, Vucak allows us to experience this gripping story at a more personal level. The details in the story content and the nuances of the writing style and structure work together in such a way that really draws the reader into the story. Too often, political thrillers are much too political and not nearly thrilling enough at all, but Cry of Eagles breaks that mold completely. This book is terrific, definitely a must read for fans of political intrigue and of realistic societal fiction.
