WITH ANGEL’S WINGS

With Angel's Wings by Stephanie A. Collins'

With Angel’s Wings is a true story of Laura, a young wife and mother of a three-year-old daughter. Her husband, Kevin, a marine, is deployed overseas, leaving Laura to give birth to their second daughter and handle the two young children on her own.

Thirteen days after the birth of her youngest, the pediatrician detects a heart murmur. That leads to the first of multiple diagnoses for both her daughters, sending Laura on an unexpected and emotional journey into the world of parenting medically-fragile, special needs children.

When Laura fears she will break under the incredible pressure, she encounters the beauty of true love in a most unexpected and unconventional way.

About the Author: Stephanie Collins

Stephanie Collins

I am a hard-working mother of 4, a loving wife, and an unsuspecting author of a true medical drama/unconventional love story called With Angel’s Wings. With Angel’s Wings is my story. I wrote therapeutically as I was introduced to/initiated into life as a special needs mother. Years later friends, therapists, and nurses convinced me to share my tale. All names were changed in the book, out of respect for those who would not appreciate being mentioned by name, but aside from names, the story is 100% true.

If, after reading With Angel’s Wings, you are left with questions, please do not hesitate to ask. On the book’s website (www.withangelswings.net) there is an “Ask the Author Forum”, and all questions and feedback are more than welcome. Also on the website are an epilogue, “deleted scenes” and “real life” pictures that correlate with each of the book’s chapters. Some of those pictures are featured in With Angel’s Wings ~ A Trailer at: http://youtu.be/d1feuCdh8dc

Thanks, and enjoy!

  1. Stephanie is such a great supporter of other authors. I’m happy that her
novel is getting recognition. Thanks for hosting her, Stefan. :-)

    1. Wow; the past few days have been busy for my family and I’m just now
seeing this. Thank you SO MUCH, Stefan, for your post and thank you,
Yvette, for your kind words! Take care (both of you) and have a wonderful
      week! :) ~Stephanie

    1. Thank you; I did enjoy the day! The reason I missed the post was because
Ellie (my youngest) and I had just returned from her state gymnastics
finals meet (where she did great, making her way to the podium twice
and she got her all-time highest all-around score). We were then back out
the door for her state trampoline and tumbling finals meet (where she
earned a trip to the podium for all three events and got a silver medal
for trampoline). Then we got home just in time for her book launch
(which appears to be going well), so – YES – I’d say we’re having a WHOLE
      STRING of enjoyable days!!! :)

  2. I like how you describe yourself as ‘an unsuspected author’ – some stories
just need to be told. Thanks for sharing your journey & helping others
    along theirs.

    1. Thank you, Wendy! Yes; “author” is a word I never would have imagined
anyone would ever use to describe me. There were many, many people
who encouraged me to publish what I had written down. I’m glad they
      finally wore me down! :)

  3. I loved this book, your courage and faithfulness were amazing. ♥ Thank you
    for hosting, Stefan.

  4. Thank you for being a sponsor, Stephanie! I have been amazed at the
number of awards this book has gotten. You were very brave to publish it
and look at the result. Congrats!

    1. Thank you, Jan! Because I never had any intention to share (publicly) what I
had written, I was honest – brutally so. I was petrified of the judgement and
blow-back I expected. I’ve been pleasantly surprised (and immensely
relieved) by the positive response. As for the awards…that’s what can
happen, I guess, when a higher power has crafted a crazy story with bizarre
twists and turns. My only part was jotting it all down…well…and living it, I
      guess. :)

  5. Hi Stephanie. I haven’t read this book yet,
but it’s on my reading list and I know I’m
going to enjoy it when I get to it. I hope
you’re enjoying your day on the Hop.
    Stefan, thanks for hosting Stephanie
    today.

  6. I loved your inspiring novel, Stephanie. Congratulations for today! Thanks

consistent supporter of #RRBC members. She writes a compelling story in
    her book. A must read!

  9. Congratulations Stephanie . You are
so supportive and so I’m not
surprised that you won a spot on the
2018 Sponsors Blog Hop Tour. I’m
sorry to be so late getting over here.

Thank you Stefan Vucak for hosting.
    Your blog is very nice.

    1. Thank you very much, Shirley, and another big thank you and huge cyber
hug to Stefan for this lovely post! :)
