There are enough twists and turns to keep the story moving, despite a large cast of characters who sometimes muddle the plot. An entertaining book that will leave readers satisfied.

‘In the Black’ is not an intellectual novel, but it nevertheless manages to be entertaining.
Review of ‘Parallel’ by James M. Corkill ****

This lengthy novella is not a serious work and does not pretend to be, suitable for young readers interested in a grand adventure without being bothered about plotting inconsistencies or lack of characterization. Despite numerous story issues, ‘Parallel’ is an entertaining read.

Orbital is a gripping story of possible warfare in space that forces readers to keep turning the pages. The ending is somewhat forced and rushed, but lovers of this type of genre will hardly notice this, their eyes focused on space.
